So, I won the ebay bid for my new mtb frame! YAY. I also commuted today instead of going to the local TT. I am already benefiting from the commute. Things are looking up!

So, while at work today, I was browsing through the MTB hardtail frames and it was love at first site! keep your fingers crossed for me!

Commute

Today I have started my commute to work. Planning on 2 days a week for now, this will add 5 hours to my weekly time on the bike.

AT&T Austin Crit

WOW. This past Saturday was the AMLI crit. I raced it last year, the few women that showed up were combined into the Men Cat 3 feild. It was crazy. This year the crit was part of the US CRIT SERIES so there was a Pro women's feild and close to 50 women were registered. The first few laps of the race were good, I was at the front. After about 10 minutes (of 60) I started to get tired and found myself slipping back towards the tail of the group. A few accelerations later, I was off the back and my race was over at a sad 20 minutes... Time to pick up my training.
